Kevin: Hate it when people think that new movies mean better movies. In a lot of cases new movies are a lot worse, because special effects take the place of good acting and a good story. Back in the day, in general, acting and the overall effectiveness of the story were focused on a lot more.

Check out It's a Wonderful Life, Lost Horizon, You Can't Take It With You, On the Waterfront, Notorious, Shadow of a Doubt, Grapes of Wrath, How Green Was My Valley...

Briana: Let's see what are some great older movies...I'm really an 80s movie person so I'd suggest Ferris Bueller's Day Off which is pretty much a classic. There's also Strange Brew, but you might only enjoy that if you don't mind every other word being 'hoser' and have ever seen an episode of SCTV. I also suggest Spaceballs, Innerspace, Little Shop of Horrors and 1941.

Jup Jeremy: hey Barry lol - it's sad but it's taken me this long to see it - i watched it for the first time in jan or feb of this year and just watched it again a few weeks ago - i always heard about it but never was motivated enough to watch it lol - there are so many movies out there it's hard to catch em all lol - i agree kevin - a lot of people think newer is better - i just watched a good war movie called the Dirty Dozen - again one i heard of but never got to watch

Nicole: I disagree with getting out of the 80s! some of those movies are the best. One of my favorite movies is an 80s movie-sixteen candles
