Deepali: Do we fall in love, or choose to jump?

Posted: 03-23-2006 05:52 PM

Ibrahim: We trip into it by accident

Lori: I agree it's by accident. When people look for "love", they never find it., It's just something that happens when you're not even trying to find it at all.

Deepali: but i think that people meet randomly...and like randomly..and are randomly attracted to each other. but when it actaully comes to love. i think they choose to take that step.

Abhinav: I believe it all starts from simple attraction and then when the two meet and get to know each other, then they may take the "step"

SAM: Love is more than just feelings!! Just cuze its something that u feel that doesn't mean u can't control it although its hard to control emotions. Despite the fact that love has a major affiliation with emotion, mind does play a chief role in love. In fact, when u start to think love become stronger and last longer that is if it doesn't die at the very moment u start to use ur brains! Don't u hear some people say "Love is blind!" and thats becuse there isn't any thinking involved! Now, to think is, in deed, to start to get out of ur that box and see the facts about the other person if u want to really be with them, as far as marriage, cuze I, personally, do not believe in sex before marriage. Please tell me if i was wrong now!

IbRaHiM: I think you're right until you got to the sex before marriage point........I haven't had any experiences yet, however, I am not in synch mentally and physically on this issue. Physically, i haven't done anything yet

But when I think about it mentally, marriage is just a paper, the risk of having your heart broken are the same in a marriage or boyfriend/girlfriend relationship, the risk of unwanted pregnancies happen, risk of STDs is the same if you're partner decides to cheat on you, or if they're faithful then that risk is low, finances are the same.......everything is the same

It's not like those marriage papers are gonna turn things into a Utopia and the couple will live happily ever after
